Content Moderator

About the Opportunity

Talent Diamond is seeking a Content Moderator to join our growing Trust and Safety team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the integrity and safety of online communities by reviewing user-generated content. You will be responsible for ensuring that all content adheres to platform-specific guidelines and legal requirements, protecting users from harmful or inappropriate material while supporting a positive digital environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Content Review: Monitor, review, and moderate text, images, and video content based on established community guidelines.
• Guideline Enforcement: Identify and flag content that violates community standards including hate speech, harassment, graphic material, and policy violations.
• Decision Consistency: Maintain high levels of accuracy and consistency in decision-making while staying updated on policy changes and new guidelines.
• Feedback & Insights: Provide actionable feedback to the policy team on emerging trends, problematic content patterns, and potential guideline improvements.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed logs and reports of moderation actions taken within platform management tools.
• Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance reviews and calibration sessions to ensure accuracy across the moderation team.

Candidate Requirements

• Communication: Excellent reading, writing, and comprehension skills in English. Secondary language proficiency is a plus.
• Resilience: Ability to review potentially sensitive or distressing content with a professional, objective, and empathetic mindset.
• Technical Skills: Comfortable working with various CMS tools, social media platforms, and internal ticketing/moderation systems.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot subtle policy violations and nuanced content issues.
• Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently in a remote setting, meet daily productivity targets, and manage your own time effectively.
• Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and nights, to provide 24/7 coverage.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in digital safety are advantageous.
