About the Job


The Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries Department of Punjab is currently seeking a qualified professional for the position of Surveyor (PPS-3). This recruitment is part of the development project titled "GIS-Based Protection Regime and Establishment of Digital Communication Cell in Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries Department". The position is offered on a purely contractual basis for the duration of the project, with a monthly salary of 43,750/-.


Eligibility and Qualifications


Interested candidates must possess a Higher Secondary School Certificate (Second Division) from a recognized board along with a Diploma of Surveying from a recognized institute. Only individuals with a domicile from the Punjab Province are eligible to apply. While there is currently one vacancy, the selected candidate must be willing to be posted anywhere in Punjab.


Age Requirements and Relaxations


The standard age limit for this post is 20 to 25 years. However, in accordance with Government of Punjab notifications, general age relaxation is applicable at the date of advertisement, allowing an additional 5 years for male candidates and 8 years for female candidates.


Application and Submission Process


The department requires a two-step application process that must be completed by May 31, 2026. First, candidates are required to apply online via the official Punjab jobs portal at https://jobs.punjab.gov.pk/. Following this, it is mandatory to submit a hard copy of the online form along with attested photocopies of the CNIC, Domicile, Academic certificates, and Experience certificates.


These documents must reach the office of the Director Geo-Spatial Planning & Monitoring Forest GIS LAB, 108-Ravi Road Forest Colony, Lahore, during office hours.


Mandatory Interview Documentation


Shortlisted candidates will be notified of the test or interview date via their provided email or contact number. On the day of the interview, candidates must bring their original documents, a detailed CV, and two recent passport-size photographs.


Candidates currently in government service are required to provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments. It should be noted that no TA/DA will be provided for the interview process.
