Job Purpose

To manage and support the organization's workforce by providing commodities/goods/services at best values and standard level within stipulated time. Ensuring all Regulatory Compliance such as PPRA and other Corporation Policies are followed and aligning procurement activities with the organization's overall planned goals.

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum 18 years of education, preferably MBA (Supply Chain Management) or an equivalent relevant qualification with at least 05 years of post-qualification experience in procurement or a related field.
  • OR ACMA / ACCA / or with any equivalent relevant degree with at least 03 years post qualification experience in procurement.
  • Degree must be from an HEC-recognized reputable university.
  • A good working knowledge/experience of application software Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. is compulsory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thorough knowledge and implementation of PPRA Rules and E-PADS.
  • Preparation, Processing, and evaluation of tenders document (including e-procurement).
  • Vendor evaluation, monitoring, and performance management.
  • Pre-qualification of vendors and maintenance of pre-qualified vendor databases.
  • Development and management of framework agreements.
  • Conducting procurement risk assessments.
  • Procurement of capital and revenue items.
  • Contract drafting and review.
  • Handling blacklisting / department cases in accordance with PPRA rules.
  • Official correspondence with PPRA authorities.
  • Ensuring all procurement activities are carried out strictly in accordance with PPRA rules, procedures, and guidelines, maintaining transparency, fairness, competitiveness, and accountability at all times.
