About This Role
National Bank of Pakistan seeks Regional Manager – Reporting & Analysis (OG-I / AVP) for Corporate & Investment Banking in Lahore. Report to Regional Corporate Head. Coordinate with audit teams, prepare budgets and MIS reports, analyze customer profitability, maintain internal controls, facilitate management reporting. 4+ years banking experience required with 2+ years in credit, audit, analytics, or MIS.
Key Responsibilities
- • Coordinate with Internal Audit Teams, External Audit Teams and SBP Inspections of the Regional Corporate Center
- • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets of the Regional Corporate Center
- • Prepare Regional Corporate Center's monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annual returns and response to queries
- • Prepare relevant MIS packages and decks for effective business monitoring and tracking against plan/targets
- • Conduct analysis on customer profitability and monitor business targets at relationship manager and account-wise level
- • Maintain HR related correspondence with Strategy & Business Planning Division and coordinate newly hired staff
- • Provide insights and analysis to Regional Corporate Head regarding areas for improvement and staff issues
- • Ensure timely training of staff to improve professional capabilities and provide necessary office equipment
- • Maintain NBP's internal control standards including audit recommendation implementation
- • Coordinate with Strategy & Business Planning Division and Analytics & Compliance Division for report preparation
- • Facilitate Regional Corporate Center and Head Office regarding confidential reports and management presentations
- • Assist Regional Corporate Head in administrative and human resource matters
Requirements & Qualifications
- ✓ Minimum Graduation from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by HEC of Pakistan
- ✓ Master's degree and/or relevant certification(s) preferred
- ✓ Minimum 04 years of experience in the Banking Industry
- ✓ 02 years experience in Credit and/or Audit and/or Data Analytics and/or MIS Reporting
- ✓ Strong analytical skills using MS Office products
- ✓ Sound understanding of Credit and Trade facilities & Services offered in Corporate/Commercial Banking
- ✓ Excellent data analytical and administrative skills
- ✓ Knowledge of internal controls prevailing in the banking sector
