The Centre of Excellence in Gender Studies (CEGS), Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad is seeking dedicated, highly qualified, and dynamic academic professionals for vacant faculty positions. 1. Government Employees: Applicants working in Government/Semi-Government Organizations/Corporations and Autonomous Bodies should apply through the proper channel with an N.O.C. (No Objection Certificate) from the employer.

• International Applications: Applications by Pakistani nationals from abroad may be sent along with US $100 as an application processing fee.

1. Deadline: All applications should reach the office of the Director, Gender Studies, within 30 days of the date of this advertisement (On or before June 21, 2026).
2. Pension Policy: For external candidates, there will be no pension; however, a contributory pension scheme will be available as per the revised policy of the Federal Government of Pakistan.
3. Mandatory Qualification: Ph.D. in Gender/Women's Studies and relevant disciplines from an HEC recognized university/institution is a must.
4. Service Rules: The selected candidates will be governed by the Centre's Service Statutes and rules/regulations.
5. Rights of the Centre: The Centre reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of positions, not to fill any position/withhold the appointment against any advertised position, or to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.
6. Incomplete Applications: Applications that are incomplete (in any way) or received after the due date shall not be entertained by any means.
7. Selection Process: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a demo lecture/seminar and interview.
8. TA/DA: No T.A./D.A. will be admissible for the test/interview.
