About the Job
The Punjab Transport Company (PTC) is seeking a diligent and experienced professional for the position of Manager Internal Audit. This role, offered on a 3-year contract basis, is essential for maintaining the organization's financial integrity and operational transparency. The successful candidate will lead the internal audit department, focusing on risk assessment and the implementation of robust internal controls to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with public sector regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Internal Controls: Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.
- Audit Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive internal audit plan focused on financial and operational efficiency.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential financial and operational risks and provide strategic recommendations for mitigation.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed audit reports for senior management and the board, ensuring all findings are supported by evidence and aligned with professional standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education & Certification: ACMA / ACCA / CA Inter / MBA Finance / M.Com.
- OR A master's degree in finance from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
- Professional Experience: At least 08 years of experience in matters related to internal audit, internal controls, and risk assessment.
- Preferred Experience: Preferably 3 years of experience in the public sector.
- Age Limit: Age not more than 45 years.
