About Directorate General of Archaeology
The Directorate General of Archaeology, part of the Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Department under the Government of Punjab, is responsible for preservation, conservation, and management of archaeological sites and heritage monuments in Punjab. The department manages globally recognized heritage sites including Rohtas Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and Derawar Fort, protecting Pakistan's rich cultural and historical legacy.
The Directorate General of Archaeology, Tourism, Archaeology and Museums Department, Government of Punjab invites applications from suitable candidates with Punjab Province domicile for Procurement Specialist positions. These roles are critical to the preservation and restoration of two World Heritage sites in Punjab: Rohtas Fort in Jhelum and Derawar Fort in Bahawalpur. The successful candidates will manage procurement activities for these heritage conservation projects under the ADP initiatives.

2. These appointments are temporary in nature, non-transferable, non-pensionable, job/post specific and conferring no right for regularization.
3. Offered salary against each post is on lump-sum basis (including all allowances) with annual increment 5% in Project Pay Scale.
4. Prior NOC for government servants / semi government servants is required to apply against these posts.
5. Incomplete applications will be rejected and only short listed candidates shall be intimated / called for interview.
6. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for interview.
