Job Description & Core Responsibilities

The selected Infra Electrical Technician will take full charge of maintaining zero-downtime power and cooling systems:

• Critical Power Assets Infrastructure: Comprehensive operations, monitoring, and regular upkeep of:
• Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and high-capacity UPS batteries.
• Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVRs).
• Power Distribution Units (PDUs), IT server racks, and all associated electrical infrastructure lines.
• Switchgear & Circuit Protection: Troubleshooting and maintaining Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs), Miniature Circuit Breakers (MCBs), industrial electrical switchgear, main distribution boards, power cabling, and complex electrical wiring layouts.
• Facility Safety Enforcement: Inspecting, testing, and optimizing structural earthing and grounding systems to safeguard multi-million dollar data assets against surges.
• Cooling & Environmental Systems: Comprehensive maintenance of facility air conditioning systems, including split air conditioners and critical climate control apparatus.
• Fault Diagnostics: Rapidly diagnosing and troubleshooting complex electrical faults, phase imbalances, and power-related anomalies inside high-density data center environments.
• Preventive & Corrective Actions: Planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance workflows for UPS nodes, cooling systems, and integrated Fire Suppression Systems alongside allied data center equipment.
• Refrigerant & HVAC Support: Conducting technical diagnostic checks, rebuilding seals, and recharging refrigerant gas in cooling units to ensure precise, uninterrupted temperature and cooling performance thresholds.
