About the Job

The Lahore Garment City Company (LGCC) is a project of the Ministry of Commerce and was incorporated on 16th September 2004 under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (now Companies Act 2017). LGCC is an approved non-profit organization under Section 2(36) of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001. LGCC is owned by the Federal Government of Pakistan and operates under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce (Textile Wing).

The company’s governance structure includes a Board of Directors responsible for decision-making and strategic planning. The central objective of the Project is to reduce the capital outlay of garment manufacturers and provide fully compliant, state-of-the-art infrastructure that meets all international compliance criteria for the exports of value-added garments from the country.

LGCC invites applications for the following position on a One (01) year contract basis, which may be extendable based on performance.

Position Details

Job Title: INTERNAL AUDIT OFFICER

Qualification & Experience: M.Com / MBA or B.Com or Eqv. 14 Years education with PIPFA Fellow or SAS, preferred who have at least 10-years relevant experience in Audit of Federal Govt Departments / Autonomous Body / Section 42 Companies with minimum 7-years relevant experience in BPS-17 in Department of the Auditor General Of Pakistan. Experience in Public Ltd Company incorporated in SECP / Public Sector Company incorporated under section 42. Must be well versed with Government Audit, Financial Rules & Regulations, and Performance Measurements.

Area of Expertise:

• Report Writing: Preparation of replies to Federal Govt Audit Reports & Annual Audit Report.
• Technical Knowledge: Compliance with Authority, Forensic Audit, Taxation System & Public Finance.

Salary: Market-based Salary package with other benefits in accordance with the Company HR Policy.

Age Limit: 55-63 years at the time of appointment.

Nationality: Only Pakistani National.
