Deputy Manager Datasphere / SAP Analytics

Role Overview

The Deputy Manager Datasphere is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore, Pakistan. The successful candidate leads the design and optimization of enterprise data architecture, bridging the gap between complex data structures and actionable business intelligence. This role focuses on SAP Datasphere, Business Data Cloud, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to drive end-to-end data migration, establish robust governance, and deliver sophisticated analytics solutions that empower enterprise-wide decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture: Designs and develops SAP Datasphere models, including semantic layers, data replication, and harmonized datasets.
• Migration Leadership: Leads full-cycle data migration projects, overseeing extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Advanced Analytics: Builds high-impact SAC dashboards, reports, and planning models tailored to diverse business functions.
• Systems Integration: Ensures seamless connectivity between SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, BW Bridge, and various non-SAP data sources.
• Governance & Quality: Establishes and enforces strict data quality standards and lineage across all enterprise models.
• Collaboration: Acts as a technical consultant for business stakeholders, translating complex requirements into functional solutions.
• Continuous Innovation: Stays at the forefront of SAP BTP and cloud analytics capabilities to drive ongoing model optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

• Core Tech: Holds mandatory experience in SAP Datasphere / Business Data Cloud.
• Analytics: Demonstrates proficiency in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Reporting & Planning.
• Legacy & Hybrid: Maintains expertise in SAP BW/4HANA and/or BW Bridge.
• Data Structures: Possesses a deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA (CDS Views and Analytical queries).
• Development: Shows strong skills in SQL, scripting, and integration design.
• Cloud Foundations: Familiarity with SAP BTP; Azure or AWS experience is preferred.

Education & Experience

• Experience: Requires 7+ years in SAP Data & Analytics, including at least two full lifecycle implementations involving Datasphere or SAC.
• Education: Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree is preferred).
• Certification: Relevant SAP Certifications are highly regarded.
