About the Organization
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Forest Department is responsible for the management and conservation of forest resources in the province. The Malakand Forest Division protects and manages forests across the Malakand region, including diverse ecosystems and wildlife habitats.
Job Purpose
Forest Guards are responsible for the protection, conservation, and management of forest resources. The position requires physical fitness, dedication to environmental conservation, and commitment to preventing illegal forest activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Intermediate (Science or Second Division) from a recognized board.
- Age Limit: 18 to 25 years at the time of application.
- Domicile: Must be domiciled in Malakand Forest Division.
- Physical Standards: Height minimum 5 feet 6 inches.
- Chest Measurement: 34 to 32 inches (minimum).
- Running Ability: Must be able to run 3 kilometers in 12 minutes.
- Must be physically fit and free from any disability or medical condition.
- Must have a valid CNIC and clean police record.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned forest areas and prevent illegal forest activities.
- Enforce forest conservation laws and regulations.
- Combat wildlife poaching and unauthorized timber cutting.
- Assist in reforestation and forest management projects.
- Report incidents and maintain proper documentation.
- Assist senior officers in forest protection and management operations.
- Ensure compliance with environmental protection standards.
Terms & Conditions
- Recruitment will be conducted as per the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government's current rules and regulations.
- All candidates must undergo a physical test and screening through ETEA.
- Only candidates from the Malakand Division Domicile are eligible.
- If any information provided by the candidate is found false at any stage, their application will be rejected.
- No TA/DA will be provided for tests or interviews.
- Candidates must submit a Medical Certificate and Police Clearance Certificate upon selection.
- Successful candidates must complete mandatory forest guard training at Thai Abbottabad.
- All selected candidates will be required to take the Oath of Office.

- Online applications will be available on the ETEA website: www.etea.edu.pk starting from 01 May 2026.
- Download the online deposit slip from the ETEA website.
- Pay the application processing fee via EasyPaisa or UBL Bank using the deposit slip.
- Keep the original deposit slip safe for your records. Do not send it to ETEA.
- Complete the online application form with accurate information.
- Roll number slips for the Screening Test will be available for download on ETEA website after application deadline.
- The last date to submit the online application is 25 May 2026.
Selection Process
- Screening Test: Written test conducted by ETEA to assess general knowledge and aptitude.
- Physical Test: Running, height, and chest measurement verification.
- Medical Examination: Medical fitness assessment by authorized medical board.
- Interview: Final interview conducted by the Forest Department.
- Document Verification: Verification of educational and domicile documents.
