Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited (KSEW) is a premier defense and heavy engineering institution in Pakistan, serving the nation's maritime sector since its inception. KSEW plays a critical role in shipbuilding, ship repair, and general heavy engineering projects for both defense and commercial clients.

To support its ongoing and upcoming heavy engineering projects, KSEW is seeking suitable, highly skilled, and motivated candidates for appointment to various technical positions on a contract basis. These roles offer an excellent opportunity to work in a challenging, large-scale industrial marine environment.

Available Vacancies

Plasma Machine Operator

• No. of Posts: 03
• Qualification: Matric / Intermediate, preferably DAE (Mechanical).
• Experience: Minimum 02–03 years' relevant experience in the heavy fabrication industry.
• Preferences: Candidates having a relevant trade certification will be preferred.
• Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

Electrician

• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification: Matric / Intermediate, preferably DAE (Electrical).
• Experience: Minimum 02–03 years' relevant experience in the industrial sector.
• Preferences: Candidates having a wireman license will be preferred.
• Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

Gas Cutter

• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification: Matric / Intermediate, preferably DAE (Mechanical).
• Experience: Minimum 02–03 years' relevant experience of Gas Cutting in the heavy engineering or construction industry.
• Preferences: Candidates having a relevant trade certification will be preferred.
• Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

Steel Fabricator

• No. of Posts: 01
• Qualification: Matric / Intermediate, preferably DAE (Mechanical).
• Experience: Minimum 02–03 years' relevant experience of light steel fabrication in the heavy engineering or construction industry.
• Preferences: Candidates having a relevant trade certification will be preferred.
• Age Limit: Up to 45 years.

• Age Relaxation: Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to extraordinary candidates.
