About This Role
S&P Global is seeking a dynamic and innovative Solutions Instructional Designer to spearhead the development of a cohesive instructional design framework for global Product Training initiatives. This role is essential in creating engaging and effective learning experiences that align with organizational strategic objectives. As a key member of the Revenue Learning & Development team, you will collaborate with sales, product teams, and senior leadership to identify training needs, design tailored instructional solutions, and ensure training programs enhance performance across diverse business units. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement in learning initiatives, contributing to overall organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
- • Develop and implement comprehensive instructional design strategy aligned with company's strategic vision for product and sales teams
- • Engage with senior leadership across sales, product, and critical functions to ensure alignment with organizational priorities
- • Conduct thorough training needs assessments to identify learning gaps and create customized instructional solutions
- • Design and roll out consistent instructional design frameworks and standardized certification processes across all business units
- • Evaluate instructional program effectiveness through data analysis and participant feedback for continuous improvement
- • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to influence decisions and promote collaboration
- • Lead cross-functional teams in developing and executing instructional design initiatives on a global scale
- • Measure impact on learning outcomes and business performance using data-driven insights
Requirements & Qualifications
- ✓ Demonstrated experience in instructional design, particularly in product training and sales enablement
- ✓ Proven project management capabilities with history of leading cross-functional teams on global scale
- ✓ Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- ✓ Proficient in conducting comprehensive training needs assessments and crafting strategic learning solutions
- ✓ In-depth knowledge of instructional design principles and best practices
- ✓ Strong analytical skills leveraging data and performance metrics to assess and enhance programs
- ✓ Ability to develop scalable and effective learning experiences
- ✓ Experience in creating standardized frameworks and certification processes
