Job Summary

Forman Christian College is seeking to fill a regular faculty position in the Department of Biology, College division. This teaching position is specifically for our Intermediate program (FSc Pre-Medical). The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic foundation in the biological sciences, a passion for teaching, and a proven track record of helping students achieve outstanding board results.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lectures and laboratory instruction in Biology to Intermediate students.
• Develop instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments that align with academic standards.
• Mentor and guide students to ensure the production of exceptional Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) academic results.
• Utilize computer skills and modern educational technologies to enhance the classroom learning experience.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum reviews, and college-wide academic activities.

Required Qualifications & Criteria

• Education: Must possess at least a BS (Hons) or Master’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in the relevant subject from an HEC recognized university.
• Eligible Majors: Specialization preferably in Botany, Zoology, Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, or Agricultural Sciences.
• Academic Record: All degrees must be from HEC recognized educational institutions with no 3rd division in the entire academic career.
• Language Skills: Excellent spoken and written command over the English language is a prerequisite.
• Technical Skills: Necessary computer literacy and proficiency with digital teaching tools.

Preferred Experience (Priority Criteria)

• Proven teaching skills and relevant teaching experience at the college or intermediate level.
• Documented history of producing exceptional academic and BISE examination results.
