About the Role

ETEA is inviting applications for 2 positions of Road Inspector (BPS-7) for the Parachinar District, Upper Kurram area. This is a government engineering position requiring candidates with three-year diploma in civil technology and relevant field experience. Road Inspectors are responsible for inspecting road construction and maintenance work, ensuring quality standards, and monitoring compliance with engineering specifications.

Qualification & Eligibility

• Educational Qualification: Three Year Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Technology from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in road construction, maintenance, or civil engineering field work.
• Age Limit: 20 to 30 years (age at the time of application closing date).
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit to work in field conditions and perform site inspections.
• Domicile: Preference given to candidates with local domicile in Upper Kurram or adjoining areas.
• Character: Character certificate and no criminal record required.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field inspections of road construction and maintenance projects.
• Monitor quality of materials used in road construction (asphalt, concrete, aggregate).
• Verify compliance with engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Document inspection findings and prepare inspection reports.
• Coordinate with contractors and supervising engineers.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and quality assessment documents.
• Identify defects, deviations, and non-compliance issues.
• Attend meetings with project management teams.
• Maintain inspection records and site documentation.
• Support civil engineering teams in overall project execution.

Field Assessment Test

All qualified candidates will be required to appear for a Field Assessment Test to evaluate their technical knowledge and practical understanding of civil engineering and road construction standards.

• Test Date: 09 May 2026
• Test Location: As notified by ETEA on admission slip
• Nature of Test: Written test covering civil engineering principles, road construction standards, and relevant regulations
• Passing Requirement: Candidates must secure minimum passing marks in the field assessment test
• Interview: Successful candidates from the test may be called for interviews and final medical examination

Important Instructions
