About This Role
Talent Diamond seeks experienced English Accent Trainers to help students develop clear pronunciation and fluency in American or Canadian English. This is a flexible, remote part-time position where you'll work with learners aiming to improve their spoken English confidence and natural communication patterns in professional and social settings.
Key Responsibilities
- • Deliver specialized accent training focused on American/Canadian English pronunciation
- • Conduct pronunciation and fluency improvement sessions with learners
- • Provide detailed personalized feedback and corrections on accent and pronunciation
- • Create customized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and goals
- • Build student confidence in real-world communication scenarios
- • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- • Track learner development and provide regular performance updates
- • Maintain detailed records of training sessions and student advancement
Requirements & Qualifications
- ✓ Native or near-native proficiency in American or Canadian English
- ✓ Strong knowledge of phonetics, intonation, and pronunciation patterns
- ✓ Proven experience in accent training or ESL teaching
- ✓ Experience working with international students or professionals preferred
- ✓ Patient and adaptable teaching approach
- ✓ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ✓ IELTS preparation experience is advantageous
- ✓ Ability to provide constructive feedback in a supportive manner
