About This Role
Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites applications from suitable and eligible candidates for the position of Director (Security). This is a high-level security position responsible for overseeing security operations across WAPDA formations. The successful candidates will be posted anywhere within WAPDA formations throughout Pakistan. The appointment shall be on contract basis initially for a period of 01 year with 06 months' probation period, extendable on satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
- • Oversee and manage security operations across WAPDA formations
- • Develop and implement security policies and procedures
- • Lead security personnel and coordinate security strategies
- • Ensure protection of WAPDA installations and personnel
- • Conduct security assessments and threat evaluations
- • Maintain liaison with civil and military authorities
- • Report directly to senior management on security matters
- • Manage security budgets and resources
- • Conduct training and capacity building for security staff
- • Ensure compliance with national security standards
Requirements & Qualifications
- ✓ Retired Colonel or Lieutenant Colonel from Pakistan Armed Forces or equivalent rank
- ✓ Maximum age: 52 years (age calculated as on last date of receipt of applications)
- ✓ Must be medically and physically fit
- ✓ Original documents must be presented at time of interview
- ✓ No disciplinary history or dismissal from previous service
- ✓ Experience in relevant field preferred
