About This Role

National Bank of Pakistan invites applications from qualified candidates for the position of Digital Banking Officer - Digital Supply Chain (OG-III / OG-II). The successful candidate will report to the Unit Head - Digital Supply Chain Financing and will be responsible for staying updated on digital banking trends, evaluating business processes, and developing solutions to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction. The position offers a contractual employment for three years with the possibility of renewal at the discretion of Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stay updated on digital banking trends, emerging technologies, and innovations to contribute to strategic initiatives
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement and develop & implement solutions
  • Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies
  • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support day-to-day business activities
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, summaries and track progress updates
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records for ongoing projects
  • Keep stakeholders informed about project milestones and updates
  • Suggest improvements to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction
  • Address audit observations internal & external, and implement measures to mitigate risks
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank's policies, regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure timely completion of processes within specified Turnaround Times (TAT)
  • Perform any other assignments as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
  • Master's degree and/or any other relevant professional certification(s) is an added advantage
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Financial Sector
  • Experience in Telecom sector
  • Experience in E-Commerce
  • Experience in Fintech
  • Experience in Digital domain
  • Experience in IT domain
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Proficiency in wireframing technology
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
