About This Role
Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites applications from suitable and eligible candidates for the position of Deputy Director (Security). This is a senior-level security position responsible for assisting in the management and coordination of security operations across WAPDA formations. Three positions are available, with placement anywhere within WAPDA formations throughout Pakistan. Preference will be given to candidates with relevant security experience. The appointment shall be on contract basis initially for a period of 01 year with 06 months' probation period, extendable on satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
- • Assist in managing security operations across WAPDA formations
- • Implement security policies and standard operating procedures
- • Supervise security teams and personnel
- • Conduct security inspections and evaluations
- • Maintain security records and documentation
- • Coordinate with internal and external security agencies
- • Report security incidents and threats
- • Participate in security planning and strategy development
- • Conduct routine security patrols and monitoring
- • Ensure adherence to security protocols and regulations
Requirements & Qualifications
- ✓ Retired Major from Pakistan Armed Forces or equivalent rank
- ✓ Maximum age: 50 years (age calculated as on last date of receipt of applications)
- ✓ Preference given to candidates with relevant security field experience
- ✓ Must be medically and physically fit
- ✓ Original documents must be presented at time of interview
- ✓ No disciplinary history or dismissal from previous service
