About the Role

Are you a deeply technical product leader who wants to be at the forefront of reinventing education through AI? 2 Hour Learning is looking for a technical architect to lead the modernization of an AI-powered learning ecosystem. This is not a traditional PM role; it requires the technical rigor of a CTO and the product vision of an entrepreneur.

Students using this platform consistently rank in the top 1-2% nationally. You will own the architecture, technical strategy, and AI integration to ensure products are lean, scalable, and ruthlessly focused on student outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing

Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the CTO for one or more education products, driving business value through strategic decision-making.
  • Develop technical specifications that prioritize simplicity, efficiency, and long-term viability.
  • Implement Generative AI technologies to automate engineering processes and workflows.
  • Make hard technical tradeoffs to keep products lean and high-performing.
  • Own the technical roadmap and architecture decisions for assigned products.

What You Will NOT Be Doing

  • Pure people management or HR/administrative tasks.
  • Wasting time in endless meetings or committees.
  • Dealing with high-level strategies detached from actual implementation.

Candidate Requirements

Technical Design 2+ years of experience making design decisions using cloud services (primarily AWS).
Ownership 4+ years of full technical and delivery ownership of a revenue-generating product.
AI Expertise Proven experience building features using Generative AI and using AI to simplify work.
Strategy Ability to translate complex business goals into clear, actionable technical product specs.
Communication Native/fluent English communication skills for documentation and stakeholder alignment.
