This role is for the NX division under Constellation HomeBuilder Systems. NX is a next-generation Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) production and accounting software system designed to future-proof the modern homebuilding industry.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Analyst, you will act as a critical extension of our division-based R&D department. Your core responsibilities include:

• Comprehensive Testing: Perform functional, regression, technical, and end-to-end system testing across both backend architectures and UI components.
• Database Validation: Write complex SQL queries to validate data integrity, isolate backend bugs, and support ongoing test efforts.
• Test Management: Design, maintain, and update comprehensive test plans and matrices using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or TFS.
• API & Performance Testing: Lead and coordinate API testing using Postman alongside performance/load testing to ensure system scalability.
• Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Scrum/Agile environments to hit sprint goals and deliver commercial-grade, maintainable software.
• User Advocacy: Build a deep understanding of user workflows and ERP business use cases to advocate for an optimal user experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a dedicated senior or lead role.
• Database Skills: Strong, mandatory experience writing and executing SQL queries.
• Automation Familiarity: Solid conceptual and practical understanding of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, or TestNG).
• Platform Exposure: Proven track record testing web, mobile, and backend cloud applications.
• Communication: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills to collaborate across global geographies.
• Bonus Points: Prior experience with the Homebuilding industry domain, CI/CD pipelines, or ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics and JD Edwards.
