Departmental Vacancies & Detailed Eligibility Criteria
1. Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences
- Available Faculty Ranks: Senior Instructor to Assistant Professor level
- Required Qualifications: MSc / MPhil / PhD in Community Ophthalmology or Community Health Sciences after an MBBS degree, OR * MPhil / PhD in Optometry & Vision Sciences.
- Experience & Special Requirements:
- Minimum of two (02) years of relevant experience is preferred.
- Special interest and experience in Community Health Sciences are required.
- Practical experience in community eye care, project management, and monitoring & evaluation (M&E) is preferred.
- Possessing experience in securing grant funding from national or international agencies will be a distinct advantage.
2. Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine
- Available Faculty Ranks: Senior Instructor to Assistant Professor level
- Required Qualifications: FCPS, FRCPath, American Board, or an equivalent qualification.
- Postgraduate training from a reputable institution is mandatory.
- Experience & Special Requirements:
- Minimum of 03 to 04 years of faculty experience in a reputable institution.
- Must possess a demonstrated scholarly achievement through research, publications, and/or contributions to education.
3. Department of Radiology
- Available Faculty Ranks: Up to the level of Assistant Professor
- Required Qualifications: FCPS, FRCR, American Board, or an equivalent qualification.
- Successful completion of a structured postgraduate training programme.
- Experience & Special Requirements:
- Minimum of five (05) years of relevant experience in a reputable institution.
- Having a Fellowship in Women Imaging and/or Body Imaging will be considered an added advantage.
- Must show strong evidence of scholarship through research, publications, and/or contributions to education.
4. Department of Psychiatry
- Available Faculty Ranks: Senior Instructor to Assistant Professor level
- Required Qualifications: FCPS, MRCPsych, CPSP Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, American Board, or an equivalent qualification.
- Successful completion of a structured postgraduate training programme in Psychiatry.
- Must hold a valid PMDC (Pakistan Medical & Dental Council) licence.
- Experience & Special Requirements:
- Must possess strong interpersonal and patient-care skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality.
5. Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences
- Available Faculty Ranks: Associate Professor to Professor level
- Required Qualifications: PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant field (candidates with a medical degree will be preferred).

- Minimum of two (02) years of post-doctoral experience.
- Proven experience in teaching across programme levels and supervising graduate students.
