Training & Development Officer

Job Purpose
The Training & Development Officer plays a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous learning at ACE Money Transfer. You will support the planning, delivery, and evaluation of diverse learning programs across the organization, ensuring our global workforce is equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and resources to maintain high performance and meet regulatory compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Onboarding: Facilitate digital and in-person orientation sessions for new hires, covering company culture, policies, operational workflows, and role-specific training.
- LMS Management: Provide comprehensive support for the Learning Management System platform, guiding employees through self-directed and assigned training modules.
- Compliance Training: Administer mandatory regulatory and legal training programs to ensure global compliance standards across all departments and regions.
- Leadership Development: Assist in planning and executing structured growth programs, mentorship initiatives, and professional development for emerging leaders and managerial staff.
- Training Materials: Support the creation of instructional materials, including presentations, training manuals, job aids, and Quick Reference Cards (QRCs).
- Evaluation & Reporting: Track participant engagement, collect feedback surveys, and generate reports on training effectiveness and impact on organizational performance.
- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with HR, Admin, Finance, and Department Heads to organize team-building activities, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong command over LMS platforms (Moodle, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar), Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual training tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
- Communication: Excellent facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills with professional command of English (written and verbal).
- Organization: Exceptional organizational abilities, attention to detail, and demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Collaboration: A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a genuine focus on employee engagement, growth, and professional development.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify training gaps, design solutions, and measure impact with a results-oriented mindset.
