VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

PESCO is a Public Limited Power Distribution Company mandated under its license to provide electricity to its valuable customers. PESCO intends to fill the following project based position for the World Bank funded Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDEIP).

1. Gender Specialist 1 Qualification: Master's Degree in Gender Studies, International Development, Social Sciences, and other related disciplines (sixteen years of education) from a recognized university. Higher qualifications in the relevant field will be accorded due weightage.

Experience: Minimum 3 years post qualification relevant experience in different gender aspects (gender mainstreaming, gender equality, gender-based violence etc.) on similar responsible positions preferably in multi-sectoral community-based projects/programs.
Experience with the public sector will be accorded due weightage.
Written and oral fluency in English and Urdu is required. Proficiency in Pashto shall be accorded due weightage.
Demonstrated Computer Skill (Proficiency in using computer desktop application MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Age: up to 40 years

Contract Period:
